Screen Mirror Cherry Mobile Ultra Using EZCast Dongle

Screen Mirroring is a smartphones feature that enable your device screen to be displayed  on any Smart TV or HDTV, projector and/or PC  monitor as long as it has the All Share Cast Wireless Hub or if not buy a screen cast adapter, in my case the EZCast dongle. With this you can enjoy games, photo and video streaming on widescreen.

In this demo I will use my Cherry Mobile Ultra to demonstrate, in 4 easy steps, the interesting screen mirroring features of a smartphone. Take note not all smartphones has this capability. To check if your device can screen mirror go to settings and look for screen cast, miracast, wireless display, screen share or play to  or something similar.

Step 1: App Installation

Install the EZCast app from google play store to your phone. This will serve as remote for your TV when using EZCast dongle.

Step 2: Plugging the Dongle

Plug the EZCast Dongle on HDMI port on your TV. Using your TV remote press the source button and select HDMI. Successful connection will prompt you  to the EZCast main interface.

Step 3: Screen Mirroring

Open WiFi and EZCast app. Select the dongle SSID and enter the password. You can see the default password on your TV screen. After connecting tap the EZMirror icon and tap the power button. Your TV screen will change, indicating it is ready for DO P2P or accepting connection.

Step 4: Activating Wireless Display

Tap the Settings in the Cherry Mobile Ultra. Go to All and then Display. Tap Wireless Display and turn it on. You will see the SSID of your dongle there just tap it and your good. You will now see phone screen displayed on the TV screen.

Note: You will only have 60 seconds to do a successful connection with your dongle. If you miss, repeat and turn again the EZMirror power button.
